Part-Time Program Experience Day

An opportunity for prospective students to experience the Frontier Studios Part-Time Program environment, meet our teaching team and participate in a training session.
2027 Part-Time Program Auditions
Sunday 4th October 2026
Students wishing to be considered for the 2027 Trailblazer or Pioneer Programs are encouraged to attend our annual audition and selection day.

TRAILBLAZER PROGRAM
Ages 8–12 Years
The Trailblazer Program is our junior elite training pathway for young dancers who demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and a love of learning.
Designed for students wanting to accelerate their progress, Trailblazer provides additional weekly training alongside regular dance classes, helping students build strong technical foundations while developing confidence, creativity and performance skills.
Students experience:

✔ Performance confidence and stagecraft training

At this age, our focus is on building strong foundations while nurturing a genuine love of dance and performing arts.
PIONEER PROGRAM
Ages 13 Years+
The Pioneer Program is our senior pre-professional training pathway for committed dancers seeking a more intensive and rewarding training experience.
This program is designed for students who are serious about their development and want to explore their full potential as performers, artists and leaders.
Students are challenged to think creatively, work collaboratively and develop the discipline required for advanced training while still enjoying a supportive and encouraging studio culture.

The Pioneer Program helps students develop the skills, mindset and confidence required to thrive both inside and outside the studio.
School & Future Pathways
For eligible senior students, participation in the Pioneer Program may be paired with a Certificate III in Dance, allowing students to gain a nationally recognised qualification while continuing their dance training.
QCE Points
Students completing a Certificate III qualification may be eligible to receive Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) credits, helping contribute towards their senior schooling pathway while pursuing something they genuinely love.
Nationally Recognised Qualification
Gain practical industry knowledge and experience while working towards a recognised qualification that can support future study, employment and performing arts opportunities.
A Head Start for the Future
Whether students aspire to a career in the performing arts, teaching, choreography, tertiary study or another pathway entirely, the skills developed through the program help build confidence, independence and real-world experience.
