Welcome to ‘Get Up & Dance’ at Frontier Studios!
Our specialized program is designed to ignite the love for movement and expression in our youngest dancers. Get Up & Dance provides a nurturing and joyful environment where young talents begin their dance journey.
With qualified, experienced mentors and our carefully crafted curriculum, we help your little ones build strong foundations in dance while fostering creativity and confidence.
Join us while we embark on a fun filled adventure of rhythm, grace and endless smiles as we all GET UP & DANCE!
Jordan & Tennille Paterson created Get Up & Dance in 2015 with a passion for bringing the joy of movement to young children- and it’s been at the heart of our studio ever since!

‘Get Up & Dance with me’ Classes, designed to introduce little dancers to the world of dance, with the comfort of having a supportive parent or caregiver present before they venture into independent dance classes!

Our engaging ‘GUD Toddler Dance class’s foster independence and confidence, allowing little ones to explore the joy of movement in a nurturing environment, without the need for parental accompaniment!

Ages 3.5yrs+
We provide an exciting range of dance styles for students aged 3.5 years+ and above. Our classes explore creativity, strength, artistic expression while learning social skills, class room etiquette, musicality, confidence and so much more!
Not sure where to start? Our GUD Ballet Class is a great option for little ones who love to twirl and spin at home!

Ages 4years+
Have a little one with lots and lots of energy?
Join our dynamic GUD Acrobatics class, where young students discover the thrill of physical movement, build coordination, enhance their flexibility in a safe and encouraging environment.
Through playful activities and guided instruction, children can develop fundamental acrobatic skills while building love for active exploration!

Frequently asked questions

Yes, we offer every new student a trial lesson prior to enrolling. Please email us at getupanddance.au@gmail.com to request more information about trial classes and how to schedule a trial.

Our Get Up & Dance students require to wear our set uniforms to ensure that all students are safe, comfortable and not distracted while in their lessons. Maintaining a uniform dress code helps create a focused learning environment for everyone.

‘Get Up & Dance With Me’ students are allocated 1 family member to participate or watch during their child’s lessons.
Parent or caregiver is welcome to watch their little ones trial class.
All other GUD classes are closed for viewing. To ensure the safety of all of our students and to allow our students to focus without distractions, parents / caregivers cannot watch regular classes or trials.
However, we do offer a special watch week where you can see your child’s progress.

Yes!
All ‘Get Up & Dance’ students are invited to participate in the end of year concert. This show is not compulsory.
*Please note ‘Get Up & Dance With Me’ students are not eligible to participate in the concert.*
If you would like your child to participate in the end of year concert students are required to attend ‘GUD Toddler Dance’ independent class to ensure they are ready for the big stage!
