At Frontier Studios, we offer structured pathways for dancers to develop their technique, build confidence, and gain recognised qualifications in dance and performing arts.

Whether you're a young dancer aiming to achieve exam milestones, a student working towards national certifications, or an aspiring teacher building your credentials — we’re here to guide your journey.

Dance & Performing Arts Exams

Offered through COMDANCE & Acrobatic Arts

Our students have the opportunity to complete exams in:

• Jazz, Classical Ballet, Tap, and Theatrical Dance (via COMDANCE)

• Acrobatics (via Acrobatic Arts)

These exams are:

• Age-appropriate and progressive

• Encouraging for goal setting and performance confidence

• Recognised within the Australian and international dance communities

We support students at all levels — from Prep to Advanced Grades.

National Qualifications: Cert I, II & III in Dance

Eligible students may have the opportunity to undertake the following nationally recognised qualifications alongside their dance training at Frontier Studios:

• CUA10120 Certificate I in Dance

• CUA20120 Certificate II in Dance

• CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance

These qualifications are delivered, assessed and issued by Empowerdance Pty Ltd (RTO 40397).

Eligible Frontier Studios classes may contribute towards the practical training requirements of these qualifications through Empowerdance.

Entry requirements, age eligibility and the appropriate qualification pathway will be discussed with each student before enrolment.

Teacher Certification & Diploma Pathways

Train to Teach with Frontier Studios

Aspiring to become a qualified dance teacher? Our Teacher Training Program is designed to support dancers working toward:

• COMDANCE Teaching Certificates

• COMDANCE Diploma in Dance Teaching

Students in this program:

• Assist and learn in live classes

• Study teaching methods and class planning

• Receive mentoring from Frontier Studios’ experienced faculty

This is the ideal path for passionate dancers ready to step into the world of teaching.
